17:55 Arsenal have moved in the market to sign Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain for an undisclosed fee, reported to be an initial £12million. The 17-year-old had also been touted as a United target in some quarters as suggested earlier.

17:52 Wesley Sneijder has conducted an interview with NOS Sport and he's vague about his future again. He denies having any official word from United but 'there's always contact' and he has contact with 'everybody'. He adds there's a good chance he will still be with Inter on 31 August but it's fair to say he's hinting that might not be the case.
